Racing for Keelboats, Ruffians, First 21s, Cork 1720’s and Hare Island Sloops 29th, 30th, and 31st July 2010.

The following trophies are to be contended: Chez Youen Cruisers Trophy, The B J Marine 21s Trophy, Munster Ruffians Championship, Field Cup Hare Island Sloops Trophy, and the Fahy Cup for 1720’s (series sailed on 30th and 31st), The Baltimore Sailing Club 1720 Championship cup (series sailed on 29th July).

All racing shall be conducted under the Racing Rules of Sailing, the prescriptions of the ISA, the Baltimore Sailing Club Sailing Instructions, and any relevant Class Rules.

Courses will be specified on the Official Club Notice board, and if changes are necessary during the racing they will be signalled on the blackboard on the Committee Boat.

There will be a briefing in the clubhouse on Thursday 29th July at 1200hrs.

Sailing Programme: There will be 3 races each day starting at approx 1355hrs.

The courses will be around the marks within Baltimore Harbour.

Starting Signals will be in accordance with ISAF RRS 26 (5, 4, 1, 0 mins)

All races will be started and finished from a Committee Boat in Baltimore Harbour.

Full sailing instructions may be obtained from Baltimore Sailing Club when the entry form is returned.

Scoring will be according the RRS Appendix A2 Low point system.

Prizes will be given for all classes as specified in the S.I.’s for both the daily races and for the series.

Prize giving will be in the Clubhouse on both days.

Admiralty Chart 2129 recommended.

Social: There will be a Barbeque on Saturday after the Prizegiving in the Club. Registration for this will be at the Club bar from Monday 26th July.

Entries : Entries will be taken on Thursday 29th July between 11:00 and 12:00 at the Club house. The cost of entry is €50 per boat. A briefing will follow at 12:00
